Other Policies

Make-up Lesson and Absencies: See the class assignment schedule sheet for the
appropriate make-up class day and time.  Some classes do not have a regular make-up class time scheduled.  PLEASE CONSULT WITH THE INSTRUCTOR BEFORE ATTENDING A MAKE-UP LESSON.  If a holiday falls on your class day, or if you are absent from class, we do not discount the monthly lesson fee.  The monthly lesson fee is a flat rate for the month.  The months of December and May are not discounted. Maximum number of make-up classes a dancer may attend – three (3) per semester.

Lost and Found: Unclaimed items will be placed in the back room of the studio.  Any unclaimed items remaining after the Winter and Spring Recitals will be donated to charity.  PLEASE PUT YOUR DANCER’S NAME ON EACH SHOE AND THEIR BAG!!  Instructors will not be held responsible in any way for any lost, misplaced, or unclaimed items.

Hair and Jewelry:  Please do not wear any jewelry during class, especially earrings.  Long hair must be worn back and away from face either in a ponytail or a bun.  Please do not wear hair down.  Long hair gets in the way of turns with head spots.

Emergency & Weather Closings: Check the website or phone the studio for a recorded
announcement.  Decisions regarding the cancellation of classes will be determined and posted by 2:00 p.m. (for week day classes) and by 7:30 am (for Saturday morning classes).
